Scenic flight Central Switzerland
Visit the place where it all began. Highlights on this tour include Einsiedeln monastery, Mythen, Rigi, Lake Lucerne and the Rütli meadow.
Program
We are starting with a view of Zurich before flying along the lake to the famous Benedictine monastery of Einsiedeln. After enjoying a close up view of the Mythen we are heading towards the deep blue Lake Lucerne. On its western bank lies the Rütli, where on August 1st 1291 by representatives of the Schwyzer, Uri and Unterwalden municipalities the foundation of the Swiss Federation was sealed by the Rütli Oath. Ahead of us rises now the Rigi, fondly known as ‘Queen of the Mountains’ by the Swiss. Our next destination is Mount Pilatus and the beautiful city of Lucerne with its well-known Chapel Bridge. Along the River Reuss Valley and passing by the Mutschellen we are flying back to Zurich airport where this wonderful tour will end.
