Scenic flight Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau

Breathtaking views over the famous high alpine peaks and glaciers of the Bernese Alps.

Program

Flying over the Albis and Lake Zug, we are heading for the beautiful Lake Lucerne. To the left rises the Rigi, fondly called the ‘Queen of the Mountains’ by the Swiss. Then passing by the Pilatus, the route takes us along the Brünig Pass and the Grosse Scheidegg to the Eiger North Face, probably the most historic mountain wall of the alps. Now we are captured by the magic of the 4000m peaks of the Bernese Alps. Passing by the Mönch, we are flying over the Jungfraujoch and heading for the Concordia Place and the Great Aletsch Glacier. Beneath us lies a wonder world of ice, snow and rocks. Surrounded by 32 mountains higher than 4000m, the Great Aletsch is with 23km the largest glacier of the alps. We are continuing our flight along the Schilthorn mountain and the town of Interlaken. Crossing Lake Brienz, below us stretches the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch over an area of 400 square kilometres. It is Switzerland’s most extensive moorland. Following the Reuss and passing by the historic town of Bremgarten, we are slowly starting our descent towards Zurich airport where this fascinating flight will end.
